The Purpose of Homework is to prepare for the exams. It is the important important part of your course.
How to Do Web-based Homework: Do it offline! Always print each assignment, do the problems away from the computer, write down each answer very carefully. Log back onto the homework system only after you have done the entire assignment and are ready to submit all of the answers.
Entering Answers: It is important to read the help about how to enter answers properly. Send e-mail to dyang@poly.edu if you have any questions.
Submissions: You can redo a homework assignment as many times as you want until the final due date. Only the highest grade counts.
Late Submissions: The system accepts submissions after a due date. There is no penalty for a late submission.
Answers: Sometimes the system reveals the correct answers when it grades your assignment; sometimes it does not. If you want to know how to do a problem, please show your work to an instructor.

Bonus points: If your homework was misgraded by the system, you will be awarded THREE points (instead of the usual one point) for each misgraded answer. You do not need to request the bonus points; they will be granted automatically. There is no limit on the number of bonus points that you can receive on each assignment.
