  • First class will be on Tuesday, September 3.
  • Purpose: To introduce students interested in majoring in mathematics to the experience of using rigorous logical and abstraction to study different areas of mathematics.
  • Textbook: An introduction to mathematical reasoning: numbers, sets, and functions, by Peter J. Eccles. Cambridge University Press.
